Kim received her Bachelor of Science from the University of Guelph in Human Kinetics before heading to Georgian College to take the Communicative Disorders Assistant diploma. After working for a year at a school board doing speech language therapy, she decided to pursue her Masters in Audiology at Ithaca College. After starting her audiology career at a private practice, she moved to the Hospital for Sick Children and joined their cochlear implant and bone anchored hearing aid programs. She moved to London Health Sciences Centre and added adults and geriatrics to her cochlear implant experiences. She brought her experience to MED-EL Canada in 2010, working as a Clinical Account Manager, Research Manager, Clinical Education and now the Consumer Engagement team.
